Public Meeting April 12th

The Martins Pond Reclamation Study Committee will hold a public meeting on April 12th at Town Hall, room 10 at 7:30PM.  We will update on ongoing projects, new grant opportunities and directions, and the North Reading Wastewater and Stormwater Committee will be giving a presentation on the possibility and progress of sewering in North Reading's future, including the Martins Pond area.

 

We encourage all interested parties to attend.

SEPTIC PROGRAM UNDERWAY/BUT WHAT ABOUT SEWERING?

Hi,

The Community Septic Program is underway and we are hoping to encourage area residents to pump their septics more frequently for the good of all.

 

So what about Sewering around the pond?  Will it ever happen?

 

Well, we will be holding a public meeting on Wednesday April 12th at 7:30PM. Location should be Town Hall, but check back here to verify.  The North Reading Wastewater and Stormwater Committee is going to give a presentation on the progress of sewering in North Reading.

 

The three target locations for sewering are Concord Street, Rte 28, and Martins Pond.  Please plan to be there to find out about the possibility of sewering in our future.  It could be the single most important improvement to Martins Pond ever.
